Al-Aqsa is Crying out for Help!

All praise is due to Allaah. May
peace and blessings be upon His Prophet, his companions and his household.
Fellow Muslims! In view of successive
incidences that affect the Ummah these days with noticed world silence and
international helplessness that stir up anger in the streets of the Muslim
cities; we must take a time to read the history and ponder over Allaah’s
universal and legal decrees in order to know the right course, examine
ourselves thoroughly and sincerely, hasten to work seriously for the
interest of this Ummah and protect our values before they are swept away
by the ever-changing trends.
Brethren in Faith! As a positive
response to the current issues, I would like to take you on an emotional
journey, from this Sacred Mosque in whose vicinity you live in peace and
security to the blessed Al-Aqsaa Mosque in view of persecution and
massacres it undergoes nowadays which no serious Muslim must keep silent
about.
Brethren in Islaam! History has not
recorded any issue that shows our religious values, historical rights and
glory of our civilization as well as international conspiracies and
contradictions, war of terminologies, and playing with covenants and
resolutions – as the issue of Muslim Palestine, the blessed Al-Quds and
Al- Masjid Al-Aqsaa where evil plans are being made with open enmity at
the hands of world powers. One of the most prominent results of this evil
machination is that some Muslims have been so carried away by the enemy’s
plan that they seek to divorce the issue of Palestine and Al-Aqsaa from
its Islaamic perspective and drag it into the abyss of blind nationalism
and regionalism thereby depriving it of its real power and driving
strength and wasting it through imaginary negotiations and bargainings
under flawed criteria and partial regulations that make lawful owners
equal to thieves and which makes some defeatists who have no sound
Islaamic faith feel that the issue is too complicated.
Are we not a Ummah that has its
sources, values and historical rights? What do our Quraan and Sunnah as
well as our faith affirm? What does our history of the issue recorded
which vividly confirmed that the war between us and the Jews is the war of
faith, identity and existence? Are we not reading the word of Allaah,
“Verily, you will find the
strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and the
polytheists.”
(Al-Maaidah 5:82) ?
And His saying,
“Never will the Jews nor the
Christians will be pleased with you till you follow their religion.”
(Al-Baqarah 2:120)
Read the history to know that
yesterday’s Jews are evil predecessors and today’s Jews are worse
successors. They an ingrate people, they altered God’s words, worshipped
calf, killed Messengers and denied their Messages. They are exiled people
and the worst of mankind. Allaah cursed them and cast His wrath upon them.
He turned some of them to monkeys and pigs and worshippers of creatures.
They are worst in position and are astray from the right path.
History of Jews is full of deception,
trickery, rebellion, oppression, evil and corruption. They always seek to
cause mischief on the earth and Allaah loves not the mischief-makers. They
even insulted Allaah. The Quraan says,
“The Jews say: ‘Allaah’s Hand is
tied up (i.e. He does not give and spend of His Bounty). Be their hands
tied up and be they accursed for what they uttered.’”
(Al-Maaidah 5:64)
High and Glorified is Allaah above
what they uttered.
They have accused Allaah’s Messengers
with great and heinous crimes. They harmed Prophet Moosa, denied Eesaa,
killed Yahyaa and Zakariya and attempted to kill Prophet Muhammad. They
used magic spell on him and poisoned food for him. Allaah addresses them,
“Is it that whenever there came to
you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant?
Some, you disbelieved and some you killed…”
(Al-Baqarah 2:87)
Fellow Muslims! Today we are facing
the most severe war against the enemies of yesterday, today and tomorrow;
a war against the descendants of Banu Qurayzah, Banu Nadeer, Banu Qaynuqaa.
May everlasting curse of Allaah be upon them. Can our people now
understand the true colour of these accursed and erroneous people after
their evil have become widespread and their aggression has become
well-known?
Their war against the Muslims has
become more severe. They continue to ridicule the Arabs and Muslims and
their holy places. They violate all agreements and accords. They always
think of betrayal and trick; and injustice and aggression run in their
veins. They want only corruption and harming others, hence they deserve
the curse of Allaah and that of His Angels and all mankind.
The Muslim Ummah inclined towards
peace with them for greater benefit and to avoid greater harm but they
disregard the peace offer. There is no wonder, for that is a peace with a
group that wants nothing less than exterminating its opponents, usurping
his land, expelling his children, destroying his economy, debasing his
dignity and weakening him.
Let all Muslims know that these are a
people whose history has been exposed and their record is full of evil
deeds. They stop short of actualizing their devilish goal which is
establishment of a greater Israeli state with Al-Quds as its capital as
they aim at destroying the Al-Aqsaa mosque and build their so-called
temple on its ruin. They seek to establish the state of adulterated Torah
and Talmud. May Allaah not let them achieve their goal.
Of what use is then peace initiative
with a people whose habit and history are these? What the Palestinian land
is now witnessing of war crimes, homicide, massacres, shellings and
rocketing, destruction of Mosques, houses and infrastructure and wanton
violation of all human values will never be forgotten in history.
But for how long will this
humiliation, weakness, defeat and surrender last? Is it not time to end
all this? Is it not time for the Muslim leaders to save Palestine and Al-Aqsaa
before they become totally obliterated.
It is for sure that those who
perpetrate this crime and those who collaborate with them will never
escape the punishment of All-Powerful Lord. They will also not escape the
wrath of nations and history, for the massacre is imaginable and words
only are not enough to describe it and its consequences.
These crimes are some of the most
obvious signs of Jewish habit and a sign of their strong deep-rooted
enmity for us and our holy places. Eyes must shed tears of blood for
innocent and armless people who were killed at the hands of Zionist
murderers who are the inheritors of Nazis.
What right do the Jews have in
Palestine, which is the historical land of Arabs and Muslims till the Last
Day and which has become a part of Muslim values and a trust upon them?
The Muslims shall never neglect a inch of that land as long as they live.
The right the Jews are claiming to the land is based on mere superstitions
which has no support or justification. Five decades have now passed over
the issue of Palestine and its suffering but where are the Muslims?
What is it that has affected our
Ummah? Can we live comfortably and with peace of mind while our holy
places are moaning, while our Quds is calling for help and Al-Aqsaa is
lamenting, “All Mosques are purified, while I am being defiled?!”
All this happens in the full glares
of the whole world as if Muslims have no sympathisers! Where is the
international community with all its organizations? Where is the security
council? Have not they heard cries of bereaved women, weeping orphans and
groaning widows? Haven’t they heard that lands are being seized and
occupied and honours being desecrated? Peace be on Janin for its bravery
and peace be on Nablus for its firmness!
Where are the so-called human rights
organizations? Where is the world conscience? Where are their economic and
political sanctions against war criminals and violators of international
norms and resolutions?
O you world leaders, who claim that
you are fighting terrorism! What do you call what these criminals do
against the Muslims in Palestine? You should certainly look at yourselves
in humiliation when you accuse those who fight for their rights and resist
oppression and occupation of terrorism. Is the wish of more than 1,000
million Muslims to protect their holy places regarded as barbarism and
terrorism?
O you brethren who are fighting in
Palestine! O you brethren in the blessed land! O you beloved ones in the
land of Israa and Meeraaj! Kindly pardon your brethren’s relaxation and
sluggishness. We are sleepless because the hands of oppressors keep us
away from reaching you. Whenever Al-Aqsaa is mentioned, our hearts are
stricken with pain and sorrow. So be patient and have more perseverance.
Your Intifada has gloriously recorded
one of the most wonderful examples of bravery in the contemporary history
and you have restored our hope. So be sure of the help and victory of
Allaah when you help His religion. He says,
“If you help (in the cause of)
Allaah, He will help you and make your foot firm.”
(Muhammad 47:7)
Our hearts are with you and may
Allaah help you. Continue on your course and revive your aims.
Congratulations on the souls you have sacrificed in the way of Allaah. We
pray that Allaah accept those of you who are killed as martyrs, give the
sick and the injured quick recovery and bestow on us and you the happy
life. Do not despair of the mercy of Allaah, for victory is coming, Insha
Allaah.
“And (as for) the believers it was
incumbent upon Us to help (them).”
(Ar-Room 30:47)
Allaahu Akbar! These are signs of
victory: Jihaad has remained the only wining card and the light of hope in
the hands of those sincere people among the Ummah, for playing politics
and using all kinds of oppression have failed.
Even though emotions are high over
the issue of Palestine, we should however not let that overpower our
reason and wisdom and take the matter out of Islaamic control and
regulation.
We must put all efforts to reform
ourselves, and awaken from forgetfulness and spread deep awareness. Also,
we must take strong, studied and constructive steps in fighting the Jewish
evil machinations with wisdom and resoluteness.
Brethren in Faith! It is an
obligation of every Muslim to stand beside our Muslim brethren in
Palestine, to assist them morally and financially and to fight along with
them in the cause of Allaah. In many verses of the Quraan and the Sunnah
fighting with one’s wealth is given preference over fighting with one’s
soul. Allaah says,
“O you who believe! Shall I guide
you to a trade that will save you from a painful torment? That you believe
in Allaah and His Messenger and that you strive hard and fight in the
cause of Allaah with your wealth and your lives: that will be better for
you, if you but know.”
(As-Saff 61:10-11)
The Messenger of Allaah said, “Fight
the polytheists with your tongues, wealth and lives.” (Muslim)
A true Muslim does not hesitate to
spend and gives in the way of Jihaad and sacrifice. Allaah says,
“Behold! You are those who are
called to spend in the cause of Allaah, yet among you are some who are
niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his own
self. But Allaah is rich and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away
(from Islaam and obedience to Allaah), He will exchange you for some other
people and they will not be like yourselves.”
(Muhammad 47:38)
Dear Brethren! Muslims’ brotherly
reaction and sympathy for their brethren in Palestine make one optimistic
that all hopes are not lost.
Those who love their religion have
being keenly following the donation campaign organised for the support of
Intifada. This encourages more support for the truth and fight against
injustice. Congratulations to the people of this country for their
positive and constructive initiative and this is a manifestation of their
continuous support for the Muslims especially during times of calamity.
This call for donation in support of Intifada is however extended to all
Muslims so that we can all be united in our support for Islaam and the
Muslims and defend our holy places, without neglecting any of our
religious values no matter what that costs. The glory and power belong to
Allaah, His Messenger and the Muslims, and the humiliation and disgrace
belong to the enemies of Islaam among the Jews, idol-worshippers and other
corrupt people.
“And Allaah has full power and
control over His affairs, but most of men know not.”
(Yoosuf 12:21)
He also says,
“And make ready against them all
you can of power including steeds of war to threaten the enemy of Allaah
and your enemy and others besides whom you may not know but whom Allaah
knows. And whatever you shall spend in the cause of Allaah shall be repaid
unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.”
(Al-Anfaal 8:60)
Brethren in Islaam! The first step in
waging war against the heartless Zionist enemy is to reform ourselves from
within, to hold fast to the Quraan and Sunnah, to unite our ranks and to
be able to differentiate between the enemy and the friend especially in
this age that the Ummah is facing different challenges from Zionists and
their followers in terms of open and secret attacks that have resulted
into some Muslim countries rejecting the Shareeah and attacking Islaamic
morals and values through the mass media. Inspite of all this, there are
some Muslims who are still wallowing in their error and who have no
respect for Muslim holy places and see the issue of Al-Aqsaa from a
secular perspective. There are also others who pre-occupy themselves with
disagreements and many of them hold tenaciously to innovations and
superstitions.
We are calling all to the fact that,
victory and glory cannot come except by following the path of the
righteous predecessors and that any act of neglect in Islaamic values and
condoning defects in matters of Islaamic belief, manner and virtues cause
only defeat. Al-Quds cannot be liberated as well as other holy places
except through the correct Islaamic belief of monotheism and following the
Islaamic injunctions. We should also abstain from evils and protect the
Muslim youth against the plot of the Jews as well as from all kinds of
moral corruption.
