What to Boycott? How do we Know?

Israeli product carry the unique Bar code starting with # 729
Most of the products have a bar code to identify them. Each bar code contains a
lot of information such as the factory and also the country where it is
produced.
Some examples that has nothing to do with Israel:
> 383 EAN Slovenia
> 471 EAN Taiwan
A bar code starting with "729" indicates that this product is produced in
Israel
729 Israeli Bar Code Association - EAN Israel
00-09 USA
This is a modest, simple and effective way to support Palestinians struggle
against Israeli occupation and ethnic crimes against Christians, Muslims and
piece loving Jews.
Sometimes brands are
misleading, a bar code never lies if it carries that 729 !!!
Boycott Zionist supporting companies
What would you do if somebody unleashed
a barrage of fire from helicopter gunships on your frail, elderly sister? What
would you do if they mercilessly pumped these tank shells into the body of the
woman who once shared so many special moments with you? How would you feel if
her neighbours informed you that they had discovered her by the smell of her
decomposing body?
Would you be able to rest knowing that
her murderers roam free, not called to account for their crime? Would you ever
want to associate with them? Do business with them. Would you befriend their
allies? Of course not!
Tragedies like this one, and others too
horrific to mention are unfolding everyday… on OUR sisters and brothers! Your
sister… in Palestine – senselessly murdered!
Her only crime… wishing to see her
country liberated. Her name… Afif al-Dasuki - an elderly woman, who lived alone,
she was evidently too slow when the Israeli soldiers pounded on her door and
asked her to open up. Her neighbours discovered her body a week after her death,
by the smell of decomposition, huddled behind the yellow-painted steel door,
with the large hole in the middle. One can barely imagine what must have went
through her mind in those last few moments…alone, helpless, trapped… and
probably very afraid.
Munir Washashi bled to death over
several hours after a helicopter round came through the wall of his home. When
an ambulance came for him, Israeli soldiers shot at it. Munir's mother, Maryam,
ran into the street screaming for help for her son and was shot in the head by
Israeli soldiers. Abdullah, her other son, told The Independent on Sunday he saw
it all happen… to OUR brothers and sisters.
Allah Almighty says: "Surely the
believers are a single brotherhood." (Qur'an, 49:10)
Now ask yourself… can you conduct
business with the murderers of my brothers and sisters? Can you enrich their
friends and allies?
`Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
said: "You have three enemies; your enemy, the friend of your enemy, and the
enemy of your friend".
Why then do we continue to conduct
business with countries that have been awarded by the Zionist regime for helping
to strengthen Israel? Everyday, the hard earned money of Muslims pour into the
already overflowing coffers of these enemies of our brothers and sisters.
Unbelievable? Read on…
-
Did you know that
the CEO of Estee Lauder (Ronald S Lauder) is also the chairperson of the
Jewish National Fund? JNF lists its activities as purchasing land in Israel –
it was responsible for purchasing the first tract of land in Israel for the
Jews – as well all know, from there on it was downhill for the Arabs.
Are you
willing to enrich the coffers of a self-proclaimed Zionist?
How then can
we buy the products produced by his company?
-
Do you realise that
all companies who invest in Israel strengthen the Israeli economy – this means
that there is MORE MONEY in Israel, which means they can purchase MORE ARMS
and recruit MORE SOLDIERS – this means that more PALESTINIANS will LOSE THEIR
LIVES!!! Using an alternative product will not kill you, but failing to stop
support of these companies may very well kill another Palestinian child!
-
“It is Jihad to
liberate the Islamic lands from those who attack or conquer them. These are
enemies of Islam. This Jihad is an absolute obligation and a sacred duty;
firstly on the people of that land. If the Muslims of that land can't offer
sufficient resistance, then Muslims of neighbouring countries are obliged to
assist. If this is still not sufficient then all the Muslims of the world must
assist.” Sheikh Qaradawi
-
As Allah Almighty
says: "Verily this Ummah of yours is one Ummah." (Qur'an, 21:92). There is a
Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that states: "The
Muslim is the brother to the Muslim, he can't oppress him, he can't give him
up, he can't let him down."[Transmitted by Muslim].
-
“If people ask in
the name of religion we must help them. The vehicle of this support is a
complete boycott of the enemies' goods. Each riyal, dirham .etc. used to buy
their goods eventually becomes bullets to be fired at the hearts of brothers
and children in Palestine. For this reason, it is an obligation not to help
them (the enemies of Islam) by buying their goods. To buy their goods is to
support tyranny, oppression and aggression. Buying goods from them will
strengthen them; our duty is to make them as weak as we can. Our obligation is
to strengthen our resisting brothers in the Sacred Land as much as we can. If
we cannot strengthen the brothers, we have a duty to make the enemy weak. If
their weakness cannot be achieved except by boycott, we must boycott them.”
-
“Every Muslim that
buys "Israeli" or American goods, when there is an alternative from other
countries is committing a haram act. They are clearly committing a major sin,
which is a crime against Allah's law, which invokes punishment from Allah, and
the contempt of the people.
Our brothers in "Israel" and America are forced to deal with them and buy
their products. Allah does not ask you to do what you can't do; only what you
can. Allah says: "Fear Allah as much as you are able." [Qur\'an, 64:16.].”
Sheikh Qaradawi
-
“In recent times we
saw nations use boycotts in their struggle for the liberation from
colonialism. A famous example is Gandhi who asked the vast Indian nation to
boycott English goods, which was very effective. A boycott is in the hands of
the nation and masses alone. Governments can't force people to buy goods from
a particular country. Let us use this weapon to resist our national and
religious enemy, and make them know we are still alive, and that this Ummah
will not die, God willing.”
-
“The boycott has
many different effects; it renews the education of the Ummah in how to
liberate themselves from enslavement to other people's taste. They encourage
us to be addicted to these things of no benefit, indeed they cause us harm.
The boycott is a demonstration of Muslim brotherhood and unity of the Ummah.
It is our duty to say we are not going to betray our brothers, who make
sacrifices every day. We will not participate in making profits for our enemy.
This boycott is a lesser resistance, which will help the greater resistance
carried out by our brothers in the land of Messengers, and the fortified
frontier of Jihad.
Allah says: "Oh you who believe, you are protectors of each other. If you
don't do this there will be great division and corruption." If the consumer
buying Jewish or American goods is committing a major sin, surely the merchant
buying these goods and acting as an agent is the greatest sinner. Even if the
company works under a different name, they know they are deceiving people.”
Sheikh Qaradawi
“If every Jew in the world thinks
himself a soldier, supporting Israel as much as he can, surely every Muslim
using his very soul and wealth is a soldier to liberate Al-Aqsa. The least [the
Muslim] can do is boycott his [the enemies'] goods.” Sheikh Qaradawi

Intel
Intel are one of the biggest supporters of Israel. Their very

they have continued pouring investment in to Israel.[2] By year 2000 they employ
over 4000 israelis. Exports from their Lachish-Qiryat Gat plant in israel
(opened feb 99) total $ 3 million a day at peak capacity - approximately $ 1
billion a year.
Al-Awda (Palestine Right to Return Coalition) have pointed out
that the Intel plant at"Qiryat
Gat" is built on land Israel confiscated from the Palestinian villages of Iraq
al Manshiya. Iraq al
Manshiya was a village of 2000 people living in 300 houses with two mosques and
one school. The original Palestinian inhabitants were terrorised out of the
village and then the whole village was razed to the ground to prepare the way
for the new Israeli settlement of Qiryat Gat.
Today the remaining population from Iraq al Manshiya is still not allowed to
return.

To the best of
our knowledge the products above do not fall into
the category of “basic necessities,” which means that we CAN do without them.
Where alternatives are available, buy them and if not, we should try our best to
go without. Sacrifice a few luxuries for our brothers and sisters who are
sacrificing their LIVES.
No
effort or sacrifice is too small. One bullet less in an Israeli soldier’s gun is
one Palestinian life saved! Start small and build up – it will get easier as you
go along, inshaAllah. May this be a means of earning the pleasure of Allah (swt)
– Ameen.
